Detail Question SOLVED: I drive my car at 60 mph for 1hr car stays cool .

Solution: Start by verifing the cooling fan is working properly. sounds like the ram air being produced from high speed is cooling the engine but at idle and low speed there is not enough air cooling the engine. also when the engine is hot with the heat turned on max squeeze the upper radiator hose you should feel water surging through it, if you do not then the water pump is probably faulty. , The electric radiator cooling fan isn't working, first check the fuse[s], then it's either the fan motor,or the sensor. , Hi, a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
