Detail: I have a 52 plate eclass 270cdi merc that has just had a recon auto box fitted.There is now a noise emitting from the rear end which was not there prior to fitting the new box.The garage has fitted another box to discount the problem being in the 1st recon box.The noise is still there.They have disconnected the prob and run up the box to test it and the noise is not evident.Can anyone please help.Now desperste.

Trucks have these so they can be braver about crossing axle deep water.. The plastic piece on the end is somewhat of a chk valve so the hose isn't open to dirt and road spray.It should be cliped to the frame to stay elevated. , From 1992-2002 cherokee shares the same ecu.
