Detail: My Fusion squeaks from the right front end. It is louder and more noticeable when its cold outside. The noise is audible when riding over any bumbs in the road, when turning the steering wheel, and sometimes when you just remove your body weight from the drivers seat! I replaced tires, alligned, and had it inspected for subframe cracks, and nothing fixed the issue! Car has been to shop twice(different ones) and they couldnt get it to make the noise(Typical)! Any suggestions? Struts and springs or is there a way to lube the contact points for the joints? ( They appear to be sealed and unable to lube) Thanks!
Solution: Top strut bearing does this - and so do wishbone joints - so try a liberal spray with silicone oil to see if anything improves. Have the top strut bearings replaced on that side if nothing improves. , Hi, a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
