If it does the switch is good . no fuse .The switch get's low ref. voltage from the BCM - body control module . . The daytime running lights (DRL) system is comprised of the following components: • The body control module (BCM) • The DRL relay • The headlamps • The DRL resistor The following conditions must be present to allow the DRLs to illuminate: • The ignition must be on. • The park brake must be unapplied. • The transaxle must be in any position except PARK. When the above conditions are met, the BCM will supply ground to the DRL relay engaging the relay. Battery voltage for the DRL relay is supplied through the HTR-A/C IGN fuse. When the DRL relay is energized, ground is supplied to terminal B of the low beam headlamps via circuits 589 and 1201 through the DRL resistor. Replaced the head light bulbs and after 2 starts the "service vehicle soon" light was gone. The second time the DRL - #194 amber bulbs were gone. Replaced these and the "service vehicle soon" light was gone after 2 starts. The DRLs are housed in the headlamp housing, the tiny bulbs beside the head light. , most likely the parking brake shoes need to be replaced. they have a tendency to rust and break off and the brake wont hold , check the second fuse panel in the engine compartment for the park lights fuse. , 1- look for sensor- usually in speaker grill on dash - passenger side- clean with windex and towel 2 - if no go- replace headlight switch- controls the daylight and always on lights- 3 if this does not help- need to replace daylight control unit- looks like amp - but silver with fins- usually behind glove box under dash
