SOLVED: My rear running lights don't work but the brake

Detail: My rear running lights don't work but the brake and turn signal lights do I have a trailer wiring harness and the same thing happens with the trailer lights as well-no running lights but everything else does including reverse lights and emergency 4 ways -head lights are fine

Goodluck! , Something is being missed,start with checking the fuse for the brake lights. Then check the brake light switch for power in and out(when depressed).Your ground is intact so no power. If still nothing, remove the lamp in question and test the contacts. good luck. Don't forget to depress brake pedal while probing contacts. , Brake lights are not seperated but are tied into the turn signal control. If the turn signal on that side doesn't work,but does on the other sidem chk connections on tail light assembly.
