Detail: I put a 1997 4.6 police intercepter engine in a 92 crown vic but i am having problems with wiring. what should I do or what can I do
Solution: You need to describe the problems. The engine computer may not be compatible with this engine. It may require the PCM from a police intercepter vehicle. Do you have the calibration code from the vehicle the engine came out of? Most of the sensors and actuators are the same for police and regualr car for the same model year. You probably need a wirng diagram book for a 1992 and a 1997 so you can compare. I may have one or both. If yes, I would sell fro $7 each plus $2 shipping each. Let me know and I will look. , Hi, a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
