Detail: Please can someone tell me where this memory fuse is for the radio. According to the forums that's what's wrong with my radio. It turns on but there is no sound. I've searched every fuse! Please help!
Solution: Don't upgrade the amp of your fuse as you could start a fire. If you replace the fuse with the right amp fuse and it blows then you have an electrical short somewhere. You could have a short in your speaker wire somewhere and is grounding out is why you have no sound. , I never heard of a memory fuse, but you don't say what kind of radio or vehicle it is so maybe on a brand new auto but I never heard of one... Sounds like the radio took a dump, or the whole wire plug harness is unplugged or at least loose..try unplugging and plug it back in.. , Hi, A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two. Good luck! , The fuse you are looking for is under the hood. There's a fuse block out there for some 'other' things. It should be on the drivers side, black plastic looking box with a hinged lid (press here to open). Be sure that you don't have a coin or something stuck in the cig lighter before you replace the fuse. , Check your fuse it might be burned out, If you change it get the same AMP, If it burns again, upgrade the AMP.
