Detail Question SOLVED: hard start My truck will never start the first

Solution: Testing the fuel system for pressure an leak down , hooking up a factory or professional type scanner an checking engine sensor data , doing injector flow testing , testing electrical circuits ,Test the fuel injectors resistance with a ohmmeter. Your best bet take it to a qualified diagnostic technician . A lot of parts could cause your problem (sensors ) . We'd only be guessing without testing an that causes parts that don't need replacing to be replaced . 048 Engine Hard to Start or No Start Scan Data for Starting Problems , Hi, a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two. Goodluck! , disconnect the batt. is your fuel pump running check fuse listen for it , i have had the same problem.the solution is the fuel pump! i know you got pressure and it runs so how can it be the fuel pump? the pump is losing its prime you are getting pressure just no volume thats why its crank off crank off the system is priming itself again kinda like a weedeater or similar motor fuel is there just not enough of it to the injector To check this hook a pressure gauge turn on key turn off key release fuel should be plenty but if tis just a few drops thats it hope this helps , try bypassing the oil pressure switch on the back of the block behind the distributor, if there oil pressure switch goes bad it will do this. had one that drove me nuts trying to fix it then figured out I had to buy a book and low and behold thee it was 3 wire oil pressure switch you can't see between the engine and fire wall just behind the distributor and costs 8 bucks to buy new. , only half way there if you have a tbi check the crank sensor/ cam sensor that is the first line of business on that truck if the crankshaft sensor fails the truck stops dead when you wait a few minutes the sensor re energizes and the truck will work again for a bit antiknock can cause similer problems but not while the truck is running , but ill bet you may have the wires backwards at the moduale on the pick up side. since sometimes it will run but not real good then quit.and it will not let the computer know its turning over. and this will not set a code on this truck.
