Detail: The Ford remote start will only start the truck. It will not activate the defrost, heater or air conditioner. Ford says this is normal! Can't imagine this winter in -30 celsius and not having the heater defrost working. Does anyone have the same problem and did you get it working?

Goodluck! , It is the fuel heater, All you have to do is unplug it. , It is a common problem, the cause is a Temperature Control Actuator. In other cases, the dealer could said Module was bad... estimated 450-500 to fix. Try with this homework solution: 1) Start truck 2) A/C comes out defrost - wait about 10 to 15 secs 3) A/C then starts coming out the floor vents for about 5 seconds 4) A/C then starts coming out the dash vents. 5) While the A/C is coming out the dash vents, turn A/C OFF (otherwise it cycles back to defrost for good). 6) Turn truck OFF Restart truck. It WORKS!!!!!!!!!!! and it did not cost me anything! Or does it stop abruptly and with a noise, like a squeal or thunk? If it is the former, then it is a short (or bad ground) in your air conditioning system.
