Detail: 2003 crown victoria ex p71 police car I live in new york, I purchased a 2003 crown victoria from the police department 6 months ago. It still has all the switchs that controls the lights in the middle console but it's disconnected. Im not a LEO and i've been pulled over for the first time since i had it for not signaling from a lane to exit off highway. and they asked if its working i said no and turn it on to show them and they gave me a ticket for failure to signal. Is it ok that i still have the equipment in my car even though its not hooked up?
