Detail: 2008 Yaris 1.4D (15000 miles) starting problem when hot. Engine Management Warning light comes on. Stays on when it fires up, usually 2/3 attempts, does not go out until the engine is cold. First start of the day starts on first attempt and warning light goes out immediately and stays out.

Goodluck! , although i'm not a big fan of synthetic oil that does not seem to be your problem. try replacing the oil sending unit , Reset the tire pressure warning, same as you would any service issue. Insert key in ignition, hold wrench button and min button, then start engine. , Your oil is a little low, and the timing may be off a bit but if it smooths out after warm it is probably ljust low oil. , the sign which is shown can you properly define it weather it is a brake sign or some thing or different without proper explanation no body would be able to solve your problem sir you do one thing better confirm what sign it is or simply it is better you refer to your owner manual booklet for further clarification if still are confused than better to visit to nearest authorized workshop or service station. till the next time i solve your queries this siddhanth saying bye for now have happy motoring & safe drive , flashing dashboard lights when the ignition is turned off
